Now that I have had a retirement auction involving my life-long hay producing business and the purchasing of tractors for use in the hay business along with it----I have decided to only purchase "used" JD MFWD's that have very few hours on them and are still covered by warranty by the company.
Having all these life-long connections with all these hay customers and relatives down south and in the racehorse world in Kentucky and many other parts of the USA has made it possible for me to really help people find exactly what they need for "horse quality" hay and extremely nice, low hour JD MFWD tractors at very reasonable prices.The two business's really work well together making it possible to get the hay and the tractors back and forth from one place to another at a reasonable freight rate.
At age 69 I realize its time to really slow down and just focus on what you are really good at. eliminate as much overhead as possible, and do a really good job at supplying your friends with exactly what they are looking for in a tractor or hay. 
Having a website called  www.perfecthay.com   and just getting it developed at age 69 with very little computer skills is really becoming quite a challenge. I hope to continue to learn more and more on how to email pictures of the tractors" and the hay "and stay in contact by email and regular mail as much as I can.But! I am only going to be doing this on a "low volume" basis so I can do all of it myself,without any hired help(except for loading the hay). This will make it all even more rewarding and possible for even" better deals".
